Nov 17, 10:55 PM: Finally Digging it

Well, I finally signed up for Digg, and I have to say, it looks pretty promising. I started looking around for new ways to promote the website and decided to give it a try.

Some things I like:

  • Slick AJAX interface for the Digg It/Dugg interface. Nice and clean and super cool.

  • Being able to export Digg headlines to your website using either unordered lists or DIV elements. This could come in handy sometime in the future.

  • Free article submission. I love not having to pay to promote your website. The only problem is having to wait for others to digg your site before you get some serious hits.

That’s all I can think of so far. I submitted The Freelance Life, Part 2, so I suggest you all go and Digg it for me. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know about what I’m doing at the moment. As for my portfolio website, I’m having some sIFR troubles, but once that’s resolved and I get AdSense running everything should be complete.

  2. I was just thinking, Newsvine is sounding like Digg on steroids, except all articles are hosted by Newsvine
